Barbers, salons & everyone else

If customers book you, there's something here.

Barbers, salons, beauty, dog groomers, tattoo studios, cleaners, mechanics, cafés. If your customers book in, message you, or come back on a cycle, there's probably a job a system could take off your hands.

Small setups welcome. You don't need to be big for this to help.

What are no-shows costing you?

Put in your own numbers. Count the bookings that didn't turn up and didn't get refilled.

Your numbers, your estimates. This is a rough guide to talk through, not a promise.

    Talk through your numbers

    The systems.

Every business is different, so these are starting points. We'll work out what fits on the call.

    Fewer no-showsReminders that get replies

A reminder goes out the day before, and customers can confirm or move their booking by replying. Empty chair time drops.

Rebooking nudgesBefore they go somewhere else

When it's been about as long as their usual gap, they get a friendly “time for another one?” with your booking link.

    After-hours repliesDMs and enquiries answered

Prices, hours and “do you do this?” questions get answered straight away, even while you're closed or busy with a customer.

    Review requestsAsked every time

After each visit, a review request goes out while they're still happy with the result.

Quotes and bookingsFor cleaners, mechanics and the like

Enquiries get the details collected, quotes followed up, and bookings confirmed, without you chasing anyone.

    How it goes.

Most of the work is mine. Yours is telling me how things run and approving the messages.

    1

A quick look at how you work

Where enquiries and bookings come in, what software you use, and where things slip. If there's nothing worth building, I'll tell you before you spend anything.

    2

    Messages written with you

Everything goes out in your business's name and sounds like you. You approve every word, and every message has an easy opt-out.

    3

    Built and tested

Connected to what you already use and tested on real cases before a customer ever sees it.

    4

    Handed over and looked after

You get a plain summary of what's running. If something breaks or needs changing, you text me.

    What I won't do.

Sell you a system you don't need. If your booking app already sends reminders, we use it and fix what's actually missing.

And if your business genuinely doesn't need any of this, I'll tell you on the call. That's a useful answer too.

    Questions people ask.

I already use a booking app.

Good. Most of them do the basics. I look at what yours does and only build the parts that are missing, like rebooking nudges or after-hours replies.

I'm a one-person business. Is this worth it?

Often more so, because there's nobody else to answer messages while you're working.

My type of business isn't listed.

That's fine. If customers book you, message you or come back, book the call and we'll work out what fits.

    What does it cost?

Quoted once I've seen how you work. Small builds are priced like small builds. You'll get a real number on the call.

    Other industries I work with.

Tell me how your business works.

Fifteen minutes. I'll tell you what's worth automating, and what isn't.
